Welcome to the website of the National Consultation Body of Administrative Science Associations (LOB). The LOB is the platform for all administrative science study associations in the Netherlands. The LOB represents twelve study associations with approximately 12,500 academic students from programs such as public administration, technical public administration, legal public administration, and administrative and organizational sciences. The goal of the LOB is to facilitate contact and collaboration among these study associations and their members.

Administrative science study associations often face the same issues and challenges. The LOB provides these associations with a platform to discuss, compare, support, and collaborate. Every six weeks, a national general meeting (ALV) is organized where member associations can present problems and discussions to other member associations to jointly arrive at answers and solutions.

In this context, the LOB, together with its member associations and partners, organizes a number of events. Each year, the National Congress of Public Administration is organized at the request of the LOB. Additionally, the LOB organizes introductory events for the board members of the various associations and facilitates the organization of events between member associations or with partners such as the Association of Public Administration.
