What is the LOB?

The Landelijk Overlegorgaan Bestuurskundeverenigingen (National Consultative Body of Public Administration Associations) is a forum that facilitates consultation and contact between all Public Administration study associations in the Netherlands. We organize General Assemblies (GAs) for knowledge exchange, after which we have dinner and drinks with the members. We also organize the National Public Policy Challenge (LBC) and support the National Public Administration Congress (LCB). The LOB board is a part-time board consisting of a chair, a secretary, a treasurer, and a board member for Public Relations. Since the LOB is a national organization, you must be willing to travel on occasion for meetings, get-togethers, conventions and other activities. A board year at the LOB is voluntary and varies in time commitment depending on your position and time of year. A term on the board consists of one year and runs from January to January.

Read the specifications and requirements for each position below.
